Messilla Valley School
The Messilla Valley School was established in 1856. Built originally in Pentz, Ca. located in the Messilla Valley. It operated as a school until 1966. After the school was closed, it was moved several times before it was donated to the Yankee Hill Historical Society. In June, 2002 the school was moved ten miles to its current location on Concow Road in Yankee Hill, Ca. A group of dedicated volunteers have restored the school to its former glory. The Yankee Hill Historical Society now uses the school for monthly meetings and other events.
